This Fall/Winter ’08 collection derives its inspiration from the rustic beauty of autumn in an old town.
The nostalgic mood of a young girl revisiting her ancestral place, which holds unforgettable memories for her. The sunrise amongst the playful herd of sheep to the departure from the town at sunset reflects moments of happiness, nostalgia…and endless emotions of “those were the days” in this old town.

The colors of the collection are naturally autumnal, with hues of yellows, camel and brown enhanced with the odd purple or orange. The fabrics used are soft silk organza, cotton net, chiffon, woven georgette, fluid jersey and soft washed satin.

The straight silhouettes reflect the relaxed and laid-back mood of the theme, whereas the layered ensembles symbolize the complexities of the nostalgic mind.

The look is sophisticated with textured and printed motifs on natural fabrics. Re-newed classic shapes have been created with flowing capes, floating panels in jackets. Layered frills and lace effects has been used to emphasize the girl-woman conflict of the collection.
